Kevin William Kruk

Kevin William Kruk, 23, of Scranton, passed away Monday afternoon.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Kevin and Lisa Hughes Kruk. He was a graduate of Scranton High School and received an associate’s degree in HVAC from Pennsylvania College of Technology. He was currently employed by Scranton Electric Heating and Cooling as a pipe fitter.
Kevin had a natural gift to fix anything mechanical and had a strong passion for his job. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially working and relaxing at his land in Waymart. He also loved his truck. He was a loving and supportive brother and enjoyed spending time with his younger brother, Korey and all of his younger cousins. He was always trying to teach them things and was always looking out for them. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially by his mom, dad and brother.
Also surviving are maternal grandparents, Thomas and Marylou Hughes; paternal grandmother, Florence Kruk; aunts, Karen Clarke and husband, Randy, Meshoppen; Colleen Hughes and companion, Bob Ware, Scranton; Sherri Bour and husband, Joseph, Jefferson Twp.; and Margaret Jones and husband, Jason, Newton-Ransom; uncles, Kristopher Kruk and companion, Kari Vaugh, Ohio; and Richard Barron, Elmhurst; numerous cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles, co-workers and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Eugene Kruk.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday at Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St., Scranton, at 11 a.m. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
