Marjorie Catherine Angerson, 86, Dunmore, died Thursday evening in Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit in Dunmore. She was the widow of Joseph Angerson who died in 1968.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret McDermott McLaughlin. Marjorie attended Scranton Schools and prior to retirement had been employed by Harper & Collins in Dunmore.
Her family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at the Dunmore Health Care Center and Hospice of the Sacred Heart as well as Mary Ellen Angerson for helping and caring for Marjorie throughout the years.
Surviving are three sons, Joseph, Bruce, and Robert and his wife Sue, all of Dunmore, four grandchildren, Erica Angerson and her companion John Laino, Dunmore, James Angerson, Dunmore, Shannon McFadden, Florida, and Michael Angerson, Throop, four great grandchildren, Raven and Tatjana Reyes, and Erandel and Legend McFadden, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Widdick and Mary Janeski and a brother Joseph McLaughlin.
Funeral services are private and entrusted to the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc.
